LOCATIONEco-Club Hostel is a non-profit organization working to ameliorate the environmental status in Northern Lebanon that includes cultural and tourist sites as the Cedars forest, and seasonal resorts with trekking, snow-shoeing and cross-country skiing activities.
North Lebanon is one of the richest ecological places in the Middle East. The hostel in Cedars is covered by a beautiful coat of snow. It is warm and cozy with a familial atmosphere. It’s a place where friends gather around and enjoy their time. The furniture is relaxing and the mood is friendly.
SURROUNDING TOURIST FACILITIESEco Club Hostel, Cedars is close to many tourist areas:
- The Cedars of the God (Arz-el-Rabb).
- Jibran Khalil Jibran Museum.
- The Diman, the summer residence of the Maronite Patriarch.
- Bqaakafra, the native village of Saint Charbel, located at an altitude of 1,700m.
- The town of Becharre that includes many famous restaurants and entertainment areas.
ACHIEVEMENTSThe Eco Club has achieved many projects regarding nature such as reforestation, waste recycling and the conservation of parklands.
